PRESS RELEASE
The Torrance County Commission has designated the Torrance County Project
Office to Coordinate the victim assistance effort for residents who have sustained
losses as a result of the Trigo Fire. The goal of the program is to identify and
match the needs of the fire victims with available community resources. Primary
needs at this time include temporary and long term housing, support for utilities
and rental deposits. As residents are resettled, household furnishings and
supplies will also be needed.

Victims in need of assistance or information and anyone with non-monetary
resources to donate, please contact the
Torrance County Project Office at (505) 832-0332.

Individuals and organizations wishing to make a monetary contribution to the
relief effort should make checks payable to:

Please include: Trigo Fire Safety Net Fund in the memo line.
